In 2007, the
Microprose brand was acquired from Atari Interactive, Inc.
(formerly known as Hasbro Interactive, Inc.). It is being
restructured and relaunched by a team of veterans of the
video game industry as a Video Game accessories and Consumer
Electronics products firm. The new Microprose stays true to
the brand, focusing on high quality products delivering to
the user the ultimate experience in the interactive
entertainment universe. |

With its new
line of highly focused and feature rich game controllers,
power products, high end cabling as well as its introduction
of Home Entertainment devices such as the new HDMI 1.3a
switcher and its NTIA approved ATSC Digital to Analog
Converter system, Microprose Systems has made a strong
return into the video gaming and expanding into the Home
entertainment markets as well. |

Software
development has also begun and an all new line of strategic
simulations are on the horizon in the same spirit of quality
and exciting gameplay that players expect from Microprose.
Founded in 1982 by Sid Meier and Bill Stealey, Microprose
started out as a video game software firm. Delivering such
well known games as Silent Service, F-15 Strike Eagle, Nato
Commander, Railroad Tycoon, Colonization, Falcon 4.0 and
many others.
